Pathogen Screening - Los Angeles

Emily Hagin's new film Pathogen is to be shown in a two day screening event in Los Angeles at the Downtown Independent between February 26th and 27th.

The film's synopsis casts some echoes of the 'rage virus' of 28 Days Later; however, this time the disease flows in the water. The tale follows a group of teenage friends and allies in their collaborative effort to find an answer to the infection that courses the veins of the city. Those taken with the bacteria are not only doomed to die, but also doomed to return in an infected animated state to slay and munch on the living.

The film promises a unique twist - what that might be, I do not know! For trivia's sake, does anyone know the first time something resembling the 'rage virus' appeared in film? I don't know the answer to that either. My guess is I Drink Your Blood.

The trailer is embedded below for your viewing pleasures. For additional information regarding the screening, including the address and times, please visit the Downtown Independent webpage!
