'The Devil's Grove'. co-directed by Zoe Judd, new trailer!

R. Zoe Judd and Michael Hein's new horror film Devil's Grove will screen a brand new cut during the Fright Night Film Festival in Louisville, KY on August 15th.

"The brand new cut of Devils Grove, one of the most brutal horror films of the last decade, is set to be unleashed for the fans and we couldn't be happier," said NYC based Co-director and producer Michael J. Hein...

"Devil's Grove is certainly NOT family friendly. We made this one for the hard core genre fans and the gore gags in the film it reflect that. Definitely not for the PG-13 mainstream horror crowd, it’s gritty, nasty, and leaves you with that 'I need a shower' feeling” after a viewing.

The film was produced almost entirely in Ohio using talent and crew from the Ohio and Kentucky area, so we are extremely excited to be screening it at The Fright Night Film Festival."

In 1999, nine family members are found brutally murdered in the family-owned Denville Grove Amusement Park. Police convict a transient working at the park for the murders. Now…a group of local high-school students are going to be the first people to go back inside the park. The purpose is to shoot a documentary about the murders, but they soon learn that certain things should be left alone!

To coincide with the premiere, the filmmakers released a new trailer:

Devil's Grove is currently negotiating an uncut 2010 VOD, DVD, and Blue Ray release.
