I was browsing the Low Budget Pictures site one day and came across a film by the name of Blood Trim, so I just had to buy myself a copy. It was a pre-order, so I had to wait a while for it to get to my house. I was ecstatic when it finally arrived. I popped the DVD into my player and was blown away with what I saw.
Blood Trim tells the story of 4 friends who inadvertantly resurrect the spirit of Desmond St. Croix, after one of the friends urinates period blood onto his grave.
When the friends decide to have a little slumber party, along with Michael Jackson (yeah, you heard me right!) they get an unexpected guest as Desmond goes about sucking the period blood from the women (again, you heard what I said...seriously!).
Will anyone survive? And what will become of Michael Jackson?
Oh my god! I couldn't stop laughing after writing out that plot. Only LBP can come up with some of the most outrageous storylines that I have ever heard. Blood Trim is one of the funniest films that I have seen recently.
After seeing Noel Williams' acting in Heather and Puggly Drop a Deuce and Filthy McNasty 3 (2 films that I highly recommend), I couldn't wait to see what she was going to be doing next. I just loved her gothic character. Noel is such a great actress, she just shines in all the films that I've seen so far. Matt Meister and Jen Stone were awesome as well. Hell, they are just great in all the LBP flicks that I've seen them in.
So, I guess you were wondering who played Michael Jackson, huh? Did he play himself? Nope, that was Lauren Seavage that played MJ and I have to say that I never laughed as hard as I did whenever that character was on the screen. After watching the outtakes, I could tell that she had a great time playing this character. There were non-stop laughs that had me rolling as well.
Chris Seaver is just a master at gross-out horror comedies and Blood Trim is high up on the list of my favorites, even though I love ALL the LBP stuff.
Kudos to Chris, the cast and crew for another great LBP flick that is sick and twisted (how can you go wrong with a talking vagina, conveniently named Vaggie?), just the way I like it.
