The Commune follows a teenager's unwilling descent into the insanity of her father's New Age commune, which culminates in terror. The Intervention is about a family seeking to rid their belowved Tom from his alcoholism, not knowing that he has far worse demons, literally, to get rid of first. New horror film The Intervention, written and directed by Shannon Hile will be playing in Los Angeles tomorrow, Saturday, May 23rd at The Fine Arts Theatre.

According to the director, the official synopsis is: 'Tom Garret resolves to push aside his troubled past and return to his childhood home, to help intervene in the destructive path of his brother, Mathew. At first, the forceful intervention seems to be making headway, but as the night wears on, what appears to have been an obvious case of alcoholism takes a demonic twist. A dark entity surfaces and methodically turns the group against each other; Tom being the primary target.'
