Emily Hagin's film Pathogen is to be shown in a two day screening event in Los Angeles at the Downtown Independent between February 26th and 27th.

The film's synopsis casts some echoes of the 'rage virus' of 28 Days Later; however, this time the disease flows in the water. The tale follows a group of teenage friends and allies in their collaborative effort to find an answer to the infection that courses the veins of the city. Those taken with the bacteria are not only doomed to die, but also doomed to return in an infected animated state to slay and munch on the living.

Tales From The Script is an anthology film of three horror shorts, all delving into the dark realm of Indie Horror production. Director Claire Ryan will be on hand to give a preview of her film.

Pathogen is about a fourteen-year-old student, Dannie, who feels that the cause of a zombie outbreak is linked to her recurring dreams. When the infection reaches an epidemic level, it becomes clear that it not only kills, but restores the body to a minimally functioning state where the infected become the "living-dead"...
