Danielle Harris recently shot some behind-the-scene footage for us of her scenes in the new horror film Stakeland, which involves vampires and crap, and posted the videos on her Myspace page (I know, like, 'people still go on Myspace?') The actress is also a director, having already shot a short horror film Madison for an anthology, and she seems to be honing her skills doing special features for Stakeland. We love Danielle Harris. It’s a crap movie, but Danielle Harris, who was brought back into the franchise last year by Zombie for his remake, actually starred in the original Halloween 4 and 5, in which she played Jamie Lloyd, the target of Michael Myer’s wrath. In Zombie’s Halloween II, she reprises her role as Annie Brackett, the ill-fated friend of Lori Strode who bravely takes on nudity in an un-Jamie Lloyd way.

But Danielle Harris is much more than funny anecdotes about how much Donald Pleasance scared her when she was a kid because he was always drunk on the set and wearing a gross fake scar; she’s a clever woman with filmmaking aspirations of her own. The Last Revenants is a new horror film starring, and being produced by, legendary action star Sybil Danning through her company Adventuress Productions!

Danielle Harris, Danny Trejo, Debbie Rochon, Melantha Blackthorne, Suzi Lorriane, and Brooke Lewis will co-star. The plot? The adventures of the last four vampires on Earth! Sybil Danning is "Miss Lydia", a vampiress mentor. The project is being directed by Joe Eckardt (High Hopes, Champion) and a late fall 2009 on-location filming schedule is being planned for Northern California, USA.
