The short female-focused film starring and co-written by Krista Grotte, Alarum, has won at least one Award in the upcoming FMPTA Crystal Reel Awards. The Crystal Reel Awards are essentially Florida's own version of the Academy Awards for Independent Filmmakers. Specific awards won that will be announced at a ceremony on August 23rd. Go Krista!
